The new year got off to a rainy start here in San Diego. With all the water falling from the sky, I was not able to go out walking yesterday, so I sat at home and played with our author website instead.
We last updated the site to include our latest book Desserts for the Deserter recently, so I did not need to do too much work, but I added a couple of Switzerland pictures to the “Fun Photos” page.
In honor of the new year, I also decided to add a new page to the website. While I’ve enjoyed posting my travel photos (and I’ll keep posting new ones occasionally), those photos don’t really relate to our writing, except very indirectly.
So, the new page will feature photos of places that actually provided a direct inspiration to one of the scenes in our books. I’ll also include a short quote from the book relating to the location.
How often will I update the page to add more photos and quotes? I’m not sure yet. It may take another rainy day in San Diego.
