Some Fun Photos

Travel has always been a great inspiration for my writing. Not only do I love to visit beautiful places, I enjoy photographing them. I know this site is primarily about writing, but I thought folks might enjoy seeing a few of my favorite pictures taken during my travels. -Susan

Bryce Canyon, Utah, where the rocks look like castles in the distance,
On a windswept clifftop in Bryce Canyon, Utah.
A delightful park in Bishop, California. Photo taken on April 1, 2012. (Hard to believe it was nine years ago!)
Inside the Molly Kathleen Gold Mine in Colorado.
Reflections on the water at the Sunnmore Museum in Alesund, Norway.
Looking up at the Space Needle in Seattle, Washington. No, this photo was not altered — the sky really was that blue!

Enniskillen Castle in Northern Ireland. Castles are such wonderful places to visit if you love fantasy novels.
Sailing into Budapest in 2019. The city lights along the riverside are beautiful.
The top portion of “the Treasury” in Petra. (Yes, of course, I’m an Indiana Jones fan.)
I think this was taken in 2017, while leaving the harbor near Piraeus, Greece.
October in Maine. The fall colors are amazing!
Monument Valley at sunrise, taken from the balcony of our room in the appropriately named View Hotel.
And, of course, Yosemite. One of my favorite places in the world.
And more Yosemite. ‘Cuz you can never have too many pictures of Yosemite.
