Cozy Fantasy (Coins for the Counter)
What do cookies and counterfeiters have in common?
Dana Everet never imagined that her latest invention could cause trouble. The talented artificer thought a magical device that counts coins would be a big help for her co-workers in the royal treasury. But when her creation pinpoints the owner of her favorite eatery as a suspect in a counterfeiting ring, she finds herself embroiled in a mystery involving food and falsehoods.
Believing the restaurateur to be innocent, she sets out to determine the truth. She quickly finds that motives can be as twisted as a pastry roll. Then a mysterious old lady hands her a bag of cookies, and the situation really starts to crumble.
Coins for the Counter is the enchanting prequel novella to the Post Host Cozy Fantasy Series. If you like low stakes fantasy with charming characters and a fun plot, you’ll love this delightful tale.
